MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As an MRI Technologist at Stephens County Hospital, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

• Perform daily quality control functions with the water phantom, ensuring accurate and reliable imaging results.
• Operate the MRI computer console, loading the appropriate coil and initiating programming for quality control.
• Log quality control data in the appropriate format, maintaining accurate records.
• Assess scheduled patients, verifying their identity and ensuring their safety during the imaging process.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtaining consent forms and ensuring they are aware of any potential risks or contraindications.
• Perform I-stat tests for BUN/Creatinine as per protocol, maintaining patient safety and well-being.
• Assist physicians with biopsy procedures in the MRI suite, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
• Verify images on the PACS system for radiologist dictation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in good standing with the ARRT.
• Registered Radiology Technologist licensure.
• Registry in MRI preferred.
