Labor and Employment Attorney Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our growing Chicago office.

Job Overview:

  • This is a top litigation role, requiring the successful candidate to lead and manage labor and employment litigation cases from initial client consultation to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to labor and employment law.
  2. Provide expert counsel on labor and employment issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination.
  3. Collaborate with clients, human resources professionals, and other stakeholders to develop effective legal strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar membership and eligibility to practice law in Illinois.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Labor and Employment Litigation Attorney, preferably gained within a larger law firm setting.
  • Exceptional knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
