About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to contribute to the design of civil systems, including grading, draining, and hydrology for sites. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6+ years of related design engineering experience and a strong desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this role, the successful candidate will work collaboratively under the mentorship of seasoned engineering professionals to design civil systems for various markets and geographies. The position requires the ability to work independently, move quickly through design stages, and produce high-quality work.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
  • 4-6+ years of related design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrology Software
  • PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred with plans on obtaining PE license in near future
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated
  • Experience with Federal/DOD Projects is a strong plus
  • Up to 25% travel may be required

Compensation and Benefits

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond & Company, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge, and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Civil Engineer II with a salary range of $65,000 to $116,000. Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
