Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all tasks in alignment with company standards and mission.
  • Safely load, transport, and unload items in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
  • Participate in all required training sessions and meetings.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintain trucks and equipment, reporting any issues.
  • Foster a culture of safety within The Junkluggers.
  • Encourage and implement ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Provide operational support as needed, including dispatching duties.
  • Act as the primary contact in the field for management and fellow team members.
  • Support the recruitment of new personnel and promote company values.

Qualifications

Clean Driving Record Required

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this customer-facing role.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize technology in the field to fulfill job requirements efficiently.
  • Mastery of both Navigator and Driver roles is expected.
  • Proficient in managing resource locations effectively within the designated area.
  • Attention to detail regarding truck operation, maintenance, and care is critical.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and assertiveness in enforcing policies.
  • Confidence in reporting safety violations or incidents to management.
  • Ability to lead and influence teams in the field, demonstrating potential for advancement.
  • Willingness to work full-time, including some weekends.
  • Must possess a valid IL C-class driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must provide a personal mobile phone.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
