Job Title: Applicator I

At GROWMARK, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Applicator I. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating commercial sprayers or floaters to apply crop inputs to producer fields, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the reputation of our organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately apply crop production inputs to fields and growing crops according to recommended rates and procedures, adhering to all pesticide labels.
  • Record application data according to regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to safely set up, maintain, and operate sprayers, floaters, and other equipment to meet company and DOT standards.
  • Perform and record daily safety checks of assigned vehicles and associated equipment, including pre-trip inspections.
  • Load and unload containers, pallets, or materials and products safely on/off trucks, trailers, or railcars.
  • Ensure products are evenly balanced and distributed on trucks/trailers, meeting proper axle weights.

Requirements:

  • Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a CDL License with required endorsements within 1 year of employment;
  • Must possess a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
  • Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.
