Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our medically fragile patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse RN. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our patients, implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care, and coordinating with our team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our system of record
- Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
- Follow up with physician, client, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
