Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the financial and operational objectives of the gift shops while adhering to departmental strategies and policies.

  • Assist in managing the inventory system, including receiving goods and documenting any damages or shortages.
  • Collaborate with the Gift & Flower Shop Manager, Coordinator, and Supervisor to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Demonstrate reliability in meeting departmental schedules.
  • Cross-train to provide assistance in the Flower Shop as needed.
  • Be assigned to areas of greatest need within the shops on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail environments.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with volunteers is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in general office and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to share knowledge and train others in retail operations.
  • Marketing and promotional skills are a plus.

Additional Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when driving for work-related purposes.
