We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their full potential and regain their independence.

About the Role

The Physical Therapist will provide self-directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with Florida Physical Therapy Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter S. This includes collecting comprehensive data pertinent to the patients' health or situation, performing consults as indicated from database collection, analyzing the assessment data to determine course of treatment, and identifying expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School upon hire
  • Minimum of BS Degree in Physical Therapy upon hire
  • Current FL state PT license upon hire
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or RQI required upon hire
  • One hour of Hip & Knee replacement surgery education required within 6 months, then annually
