POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is integral to the administrative operations of our healthcare practice. The representative is tasked with delivering exceptional service to patients and their families, both face-to-face and via telephone communication. The position also serves as a vital link between patients, medical staff, and healthcare providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate smooth communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
- Provide outstanding customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Assist with billing processes related to daily transactions and charges.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Minimum of a High School diploma.
- An Associate's Degree or higher education is preferred.
Experience:
- Required: Previous experience in a healthcare-related field with a solid understanding of medical terminology.
- Preferred: Two years of experience in medical customer service.
- Previous experience in phlebotomy is an advantage.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Typing speed of 40-60 words per minute.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
