SUMMARY
The Mechanical Assembler position involves the assembly of various components including piping, valves, gauges, reliefs, burners, and other related equipment on pressure vessels and skids.
The ideal candidate is a proactive multi-tasker who demonstrates a strong work ethic to ensure that all quality standards are consistently met.

The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary for success. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regular and punctual attendance is a critical job function for all positions and is essential for individual effectiveness and that of the team.
Safe and proper operation of various hand, air, and power tools.
Accurately identify and inspect all components for defects to guarantee quality output.
Examine all connections to ensure proper sealing.
Correctly identify and document vessel parts and components.
Prepare and secure parts or vessels for hydrostatic testing in accordance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
Assist in the loading of shipments.
Maintain a positive attitude and embrace the company philosophy.
Adhere to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Cut and thread pipe.
Install, align, and seal flanged piping.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 6 months of experience in heavy assembly, manufacturing, or material handling, or equivalent experience.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to safely operate a Crane and Forklift (certification required).
Intermediate math skills and proficiency in reading a tape measure are necessary.
Capability to learn about pressure gauges, their applications, and how to interpret them.
Ability to read and comprehend assembly blueprints and bills of materials.
Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
Must understand and adhere to quality and production policies and procedures to identify defects.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must be physically capable of accessing all areas of the facility and grounds.
Some aspects of this position may require working in confined spaces.
Some aspects of this position may necessitate close vision, depth perception, the ability to see small details, and the ability to adjust focus.
