Key Responsibilities
  • Business Strategy
    • Evaluate current business plans, processes, and requirements to identify factors negatively affecting our business unit.
    • Develop expert strategies and solutions to address identified issues, coordinating business efforts to achieve success.
    • Partner with our Front Line Management (FLM) team to drive risk awareness, risk accountability, and risk culture throughout our organization.
  • Governance & Execution
    • Collaborate with our FLM, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, IT, Privacy, and other process owners to identify risks, maintain compliance standards, and mitigate risks domestically and internationally.
    • Coordinate support for control testing and issue management.
    • Develop and timely implement policies, procedures, and controls designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and risk management standards.
  • Leadership
    • Facilitate cross-functional teams, facilitate project meetings, develop, and maintain project plans, and manage/support solution implementations.
    • Lead special projects, serving as a resource to our wider business unit or organization.
    • Utilize expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters.
  • Data Analysis
    • Source, compile, and interpret data.
    • Perform complex data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
    • Oversee the execution of risk assessments in partnership with our FLM.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry.
  • OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Business Strategy, Project Planning, and Financial Services industry.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of relevant marketing and/or risk management experience.
    • Knowledge of banking procedures and risk management practices.
    • Ability to predict and proactively mitigate risk.
    • Proven project management skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.
    • Experience preparing and presenting executive-level presentations.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with evidence of working collaboratively across large, complex organizations.
