We are committed to delivering high-quality, on-time results and are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to manage a light commercial construction project in Madison, TN.

Job Summary:

As a Commercial Project Manager at ASI, you'll oversee the onsite, daily management of the project, ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

· Enforcing safety regulations: Ensuring that the job site adheres to all federal, state, and local safety regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox talks, and ensure workers are using proper safety equipment.

· Managing risk: Identifying potential hazards, implementing preventative measures, and addressing safety concerns promptly.

· Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite: This not only contributes to safety but also efficiency.

· Developing and managing the project timeline: Maintain the master schedule, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure timely completion within budget.

· Procure, supervise and coordinate subcontractors: This includes obtaining estimates, submitting invoices, scheduling work, resolving disputes, and ensuring quality workmanship.

· Managing materials, deliveries and equipment: Ensuring the accuracy, quality, timely delivery and availability of all materials and equipment.

· Maintaining daily logs and reports: Provide daily reports of work progress, weather conditions, safety incidents or concerns, and other project-related information.

· Interact with local regulators: Meet with local code enforcement, planning committees, architects and engineers.

· Attend remote meetings: Meet with offsite team of project manager, operations manager, accountant, architecture and engineer.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Construction Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of building construction, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Subcontractor Management: Proven experience in managing multiple subcontractors, vendors and trades of commercial construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and other project documents. Must be comfortable utilizing smart technologies for all aspects of the project. Proficiency or ability to learn construction management software. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Natural ability to communicate with various types of personalities, while maintaining professionalism and leadership.
  • Equipment Operations: Ability to operate forklift,

Additional Requirements:

· Self-motivated and punctual in arriving on time to the jobsite and attending scheduled meetings.

· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

· Must have dependable transportation.

· Valid U.S. driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications (not required to be considered for the position):

· OSHA and/or CPR certification is preferred

· Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation:

Construction Management Agreement: This is a contract position. Your salary will be negotiated and stipulated in the contract management agreement. Contract is paid in calculated, bi-weekly disbursements for the duration of the project.
