Crothall Healthcare is seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and restoring hard-surface floors to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment, including automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
- Utilize proper procedures on carpet and upholstering, including shampooing, damp surface extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is required.
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures is essential.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs. is required.
