Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Geisinger Viewmont Imaging in Scranton, PA. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures, including neuro, body, and extremity scans, following protocols set by radiologists.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, explaining the exam and answering questions.
  • Enter necessary data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System Image Management Systems.
  • Process images as necessary and identify anatomy on images.
  • Perform quality control tests of equipment and report any irregularities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certifications.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a weekend shift schedule, working 32 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
