Data Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at the Tennessee Reading Research Center. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the preparation and analysis of datasets for state-level evaluations of literacy initiatives and federally funded research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and analysis of datasets for research projects
  • Collaborate with researchers to design and implement statistical models
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets
  • Communicate research findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting complex statistical analysis with multilevel data
  • Proficiency in R statistical software and experience with data visualization tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in statistics, educational measurement, or a related field
  • Experience working with statewide longitudinal data systems
  • Advanced knowledge of R packages and data visualization tools
