Care Coordinator for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team at Independence Advocates of Maine Inc. As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations to provide exceptional care
- Coordinating active treatment programs, working closely with our interdisciplinary team
- Crafting personalized service plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident
- Managing internal and external services, offering guidance and support when needed
- SUPERVISING OUR PROGRAMMING STAFF, fostering a warm and collaborative environment
- Oversighting CNA interactions, promoting positive relationships between staff and clients throughout programming activities
We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $65,000 per year, as well as numerous benefits, including 100% employer-paid health, dental, disability, and life insurance (full-time). Our comprehensive package is designed to support your growth and well-being.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (such as social work, psychology, or rehabilitation)
- One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- At least one year of supervisor and/or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills that bring people together
- A genuine love for teamwork and collaboration with diverse professionals
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices
