The Senior Verification & Validation Engineer (V&V) plays a crucial role in establishing a risk-based testing strategy, formulating test plans, drafting test procedures, and ensuring that product specifications are thoroughly validated. This position is integral to our quality assurance team, collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, software, and operations teams to guarantee comprehensive testing of product releases while driving methodologies, coverage, and efficiency.

A solid grasp of the design and development lifecycle, various testing methodologies, and familiarity with quality standards and regulations are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a verification and validation strategy for hardware within a software-driven electro-mechanical system.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, System Engineers, and other engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Conduct verification and validation of product designs, including requirement analysis and testability evaluations.
  • Perform root cause analyses and propose solutions to enhance product quality.
  • Develop and execute a detailed test plan to assess the readiness and effectiveness of new systems.
  • Document and monitor defects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for platform services.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in system integration and testing within a robotic environment for electro-mechanical devices (preferably in automation).
  • Proficient in system testing, subsystem testing, and Hardware/Firmware/Software testing.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in designing and developing test automation frameworks and libraries.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
