Role Overview:
The Electronics Technician plays a crucial role in supporting engineers in the development and assembly of electronic systems. This position requires proficiency in calibrating and utilizing various electronic tools such as soldering equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers. The technician must be adept at interpreting schematics and diagnosing electronic systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the rapid prototyping and soldering of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to construct electronic systems.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace while managing workload efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with design teams and fellow engineers.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or a related field, or equivalent certification.
- 1-3 years of experience in soldering and handling PCBs.
- At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting electronic systems.
- Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers is essential.
