Position Summary

We are seeking a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer who will perform both armed and unarmed patrols, utilizing foot and vehicle methods, in designated areas. Key responsibilities include managing access points, monitoring surveillance systems, preparing incident reports, and deterring criminal behavior. The Flex Officer will be assigned to various locations and may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends, often with short notice.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00. Candidates must have a clean driving record and meet the essential qualifications outlined below. A resume is required as part of the application process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security patrols of assigned areas, either on foot or in a vehicle.
  • Identify and report any irregular or suspicious conditions that may pose security risks.
  • Alert authorities in emergencies, such as fires or unauthorized individuals.
  • Enforce rules and regulations, including addressing violations like loitering or prohibited items.
  • Control access to premises, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
  • Monitor exits to prevent theft and ensure compliance with property removal protocols.
  • Document incidents, accidents, and unusual activities; maintain required logs.
  • Assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Make emergency notifications as dictated by site-specific protocols.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing security measures and operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One or more of the following qualifications must be met:
    • Military experience in law enforcement or security roles.
    • Graduation from a recognized Public Safety Academy or relevant work experience in law enforcement or firefighting.
    • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field.
    • A minimum of 8 years of service in any military branch.
    • Associate's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with military service.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to operate communication equipment and monitor systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and active listening abilities.
  • Capability to assess situations and identify critical issues promptly.
  • Proficient in compiling and interpreting data.
  • Ability to mediate conflicts with professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and teamwork orientation.

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
