Job Description

Birlasoft is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data and analytics solutions team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering data and analytics solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

  • Business Needs Analysis: You will work with internal and external service providers to document current and emerging business needs and develop data and analytics solutions to address them.
  • Requirements Gathering: You will participate in sessions with Product Owners to gather business context, analyze, and document findings.
  • Requirements Documentation: You will document business requirements, user stories, and technical requirements to ensure that changes and enhancements meet technical specifications and user requirements.
  • Collaboration: You will collaborate with internal customers to ensure that user requirements are complete and concise, and that changes and enhancements meet technical specifications and user requirements.
  • Data Analysis: You will perform data analysis on different data sources, consolidating multiple data sets and analyzing the data accurately and efficiently.
  • Business Process Analysis: You will perform business process analysis to define how data and analytic solutions should be configured to meet business needs.
  • Technical Skills: You will have strong knowledge of SQL, BI Reports, and develop ad-hoc analysis within PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, and other applications.
  • Requirements Analysis: You will have proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
  • Process Mapping: You will map current processes to the desired state and identify gaps such as program functions, output requirements, input requirements, and sources.
  • Test Design: You will assist with the development of test designs and develop test cases.
  • Analytics Reporting: You will provide guidance in analytics reporting involving scorecards, dashboards, KPIs, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Experience: You will have 5+ years of experience as a highly technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting data and analytic software development projects.
  • Functional Expertise: You will have functional expertise in Manufacturing/Supply Chain functional area using ERP (Oracle EBS, JDE, etc.).
  • Data Visualization: You will leverage a solid understanding of data structures, domain-specific knowledge, and the end-user experience to impact the final data visualization product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a highly technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting data and analytic software development projects.
  • Functional expertise in Manufacturing/Supply Chain functional area using ERP (Oracle EBS, JDE, etc.).
