Aveanna Private Duty Nurse - RN Job Description

Aveanna's Private Duty nurses play a vital role in providing continuous care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clients, family members, and staff
Qualifications:
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
