We are seeking a highly skilled Medicaid Managed Care/Medicare Advantage Subject Matter Expert to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the Medicaid program by identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities, determining risk factors, and developing mitigation strategies to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze user needs and perform research and functional analysis on various projects to identify vulnerabilities and risk factors in the Medicaid program.
- Collaborate with team members to develop deliverable documents for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that define and score identified vulnerabilities, their risk factors, and root causes to determine mitigations.
- Meet regularly with team members and CMS to discuss research findings and determine next steps.
- Work with team members from GDIT and contractors to conduct vulnerability analysis and prepare project deliverables for CMS.
- Responsible for drafting deliverable documents, including Risk Assessments, Vulnerability Summaries, and FAST forms.
- Research Medicaid policies and regulations to define and support vulnerabilities and provide recommendations.
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- Required Experience: 5-10 years of related experience
- Required Technical Skills: policy and regulatory research and writing
- Security Clearance Level: none
- Required Skills and Abilities: communication, problem-solving, legal and policy research
