Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at CareNow Urgent Care. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and conducting patient histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Assist physicians with procedures, including injections, lab testing, and phlebotomy
  • Coordinate patient physicals and work-related injuries for partner accounts
  • Screen incoming calls and refer patients to physicians or practitioners as needed
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of an approved program
  • Experience using an EHR system is a plus
  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred
