Residential Advisor

Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system seeking a Residential Advisor to provide day-to-day supervision and living skills instruction for residents. This role involves carrying out duties assigned by the Program Manager, Program Manager Assistant, or TLP Advisor Team Lead, including providing training and support to help residents attain maximum independence and maintaining appropriate documentation.

• Assist service recipients with making linkage with internal and external resources as outlined in treatment plans and in coordination with Integrated Healthcare Services.
• Provide transportation for service recipients as needed.
• Offer instruction regarding personal care as needed.
• Assist clients with life skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, interpersonal skills, resume building, vocational skills, and other life skill instruction.

• Bachelor's degree in mental health or social service field, or an Associate's degree in mental health social service field with one year of mental health experience or five years of direct work experience with a mental health population.
• One year of mental health experience.
• CPR/1st Aid and CPI certifications.
