This position merges software development and systems engineering to uphold large-scale, fault-tolerant infrastructures, ensuring their continuous availability and adaptability. The SRE is responsible for monitoring system performance, facilitating cloud transitions, and driving innovations to fulfill client requirements while providing operational support for various distributed software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate performance metrics and fault tolerance indicators
  • Work collaboratively with development teams on service improvements and testing
  • Contribute to system architecture, platform management, and capacity planning
  • Balance the pace of feature development with system reliability
  • Support incident management to restore normal operations
  • Demonstrate proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting
  • Manage unwanted traffic through investigation and rate-limiting techniques
  • Utilize monitoring tools for proactive adjustments and alerts
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and technology
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Over 5 years of experience in a technology or software-focused role
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, SRE methodologies, and cloud platforms (GCP)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or SolarWinds
  • Proficient in microservices architecture and infrastructure diagnostics
  • Experienced in deploying, monitoring, and supporting enterprise-level applications
  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD tools and performance enhancement techniques
  • Strong combination of software engineering and operational support capabilities
  • Understanding of web technologies and tools including Azure DevOps, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Terraform, and Grafana
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Grafana
  • Familiarity with Splunk
