MDS Nurse Career Overview

We are seeking an experienced MDS Nurse to join our team at Otterbein Staffing Agency. As a key member of our care community, you will have the opportunity to work with seniors in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development, completion, and transmission of assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements. They will also manage reimbursement and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a PRN position that requires 4 weeks to 12 weeks commitment. Our LPNs direct resident care, collaborate with physicians, residents and multi-disciplinary team members and provide physical and psychological support to residents, families and team members.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the development, completion, and transmission of assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Manage reimbursement and ensure compliance with regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes

Requirements:

- Current OH RN license preferred
- BSN degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years' experience in long-term care/nursing home environment
- Experience in post-acute environments a plus
