Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course

  • NURSYS Verification: RN, LPN/LVN, AP
Job Details
  • Average Daily Census: 22 patients
  • Rooms: 5
  • Shift: 3x12 Days
  • Call Requirement: None
  • Float Requirement: None
  • Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred
  • Traveler Experience: Based on prior experience
  • Skills: Proficient in 1:3 ratios, emergency care, and various critical procedures including EKG interpretation and IV management.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
  • CPI, MAB, NIH certifications
  • Community Hospital Experience
  • MedHost familiarity
  • Pediatric Emergency Department experience
  • Ability to manage complex medical conditions
Schedule Information
  • Shift: 3x12 Days
  • Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Unit Specific Information
  • Special Equipment: Bi-Pap, Vapotherm, LTV transport ventilator
  • Unit Systems: Pyxis, MedHost, SBAR
  • Orientation: Orientation hours depend on the RN, up to 24 hours
  • Scrubs: Any color
