Job Summary

As a Housekeeper at Mountain View Hospital, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all areas of the facility, including proper disinfection, waste disposal, and stocking of supplies. Your dedication to detail-oriented and efficient cleaning practices is essential to uphold our high standards of care and cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow established protocols for infection control and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including 'dry' and 'wet' cleaning duties, and stock and maintain cleanliness of linen supply and housekeeping closets.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of cleaning equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Flexibility to assist in various departments as needed and work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Handle waste disposal procedures efficiently and responsibly.
  • Adhere to facility policies and demonstrate loyalty to organizational values.
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience in institutional housekeeping. Basic computer skills and proficiency in operating basic cleaning equipment are preferred.
