We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Fresenius Medical Center. As an Acute Inpatient Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-care and independence.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute dialysis nursing, with a focus on inpatient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and meeting productivity standards.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
