Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-care and independence.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute dialysis nursing, with a focus on inpatient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and meeting productivity standards.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
