Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled NET Developer to provide necessary services to support software applications developed and maintained by the Department of Transportation. The ideal candidate will leverage Agile best practices with a strong attention to customer service throughout this transition and system support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support existing applications using.NET
  • Assess current application implementations, document present state, and note discrepancies with existing documentation
  • Maintain existing applications to meet all stated SLAs
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using.NET elements used in client's software stack
  • Translate requirements from User Stories into valuable, working software
  • Generate clear and maintainable documentation
  • Contribute to the culture and continuous improvement of an Agile team
  • Monitor monthly metrics to maintain system performance and identify trends that may require changes to the application
  • Support responses to data calls and ad hoc reporting requests as needed
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be willing and able to work EST hours
  • 4+ years hands-on.NET Core (versions 3.0 or greater) development experience
  • Experience with authorization and authentication
  • Experience in development and implementation experience with the full life-cycle of implementations, including designing the overall application architectures artifacts and data model
  • Experience with database technologies, team collaboration tools, e.g. JIRA, and deployment platforms, e.g. Jenkins or Git
  • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle in general and Agile specifically
