Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate I to join our team in the Slomka Lab. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in coordinating and implementing research study activities, ensuring compliance with protocol and research objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study Coordination: Schedule patients for research visits and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient execution of study protocols.
- Data Management: Enter clinical research data into Electronic Data Systems (EDCs) provided by sponsors, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist with regulatory submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), including submission of Adverse Events, Serious Adverse Events, and Safety Letters in accordance with local and federal guidelines.
- Financial Management: Assist with clinical trial budgets and patient research billing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Sample Preparation and Shipping: Prepare and ship study samples, maintaining strict quality control and adherence to protocol.
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines: Maintain research practices in accordance with GCP guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Patient Confidentiality: Maintain strict patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and applicable law.
- Training and Education: Participate in required training and education programs, staying up-to-date on the latest research methodologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's degree in Science, Sociology, or related degree, preferred.
- Experience: Understanding of general research objectives. Experience in a clinical research setting is highly preferred.
