Research Associate I

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate I to join our team at the Smidt Heart Institute. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine experimental protocols and procedures to support the objectives of one or more laboratory research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine laboratory tasks and procedures, including maintenance of reagents and stocking of supplies.
- Assist with animal husbandry and maintain lab equipment and related records.
- Transport, process, and log samples, and maintain computer databases with relevant clinical information.
- Perform lab maintenance duties, including glassware cleaning and sterilization, and maintain stocks of general lab materials.
- Assist new students and fellows at the laboratory and observe and comply with safety standards and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences.
