Overview

As a valued member of the AHMC Healthcare team, the Emergency Room Technician I plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this position requires a strong focus on patient comfort, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in emergency patient care, prioritizing patient needs and responding to emergencies with poise and composure
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, from initial assessment to discharge
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patient confidentiality

Requirements:

* One year of acute care experience in an emergency services or related area
* Strong education and associated experiential background considered in lieu of experience
* Bilingual skills in English/Spanish or English/Korean preferred
* Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
* EMT certificate and ACLS/PALS certifications preferred
* Completion of Management of Assaultive Behavior training within the initial 3-month period of employment
