We are seeking a highly skilled Boiler Plant Equipment Operator to join our team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our boilers and auxiliary equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of duties necessary to operate and maintain boilers and auxiliary equipment for producing steam.
- Monitor the status of all utility systems and intervene when necessary to minimize disruption of any service.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide technical support as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- 1-5 years of general mechanical experience, with a focus on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
- Hospital experience is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- New Jersey Black Seal Boiler Operator's License.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Windows-based systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
This is a full-time position, working 80 hours per pay period. The shift is Wednesday through Sunday, 3pm-11pm.
