Montana Endocrinology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Endocrinology Specialist to join our team in Montana as a locum tenens provider. This opportunity allows you to work with adults, focusing on 50% Endocrinology and 50% Diabetes cases.
About the JobThis is a full-time position, covering approximately 3-4 weeks per month. You will be working Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with 4-5 days of work per week.
The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills and experience in managing adult patients with Endocrine disorders and Diabetes. As a locum tenens provider, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients independently, with minimal supervision.
Scope of PracticeAs an Endocrinology Specialist, you will be expected to:
- Evaluate and diagnose adult patients with Endocrine disorders and Diabetes
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
You will also have access to Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and work in a Level 3 trauma hospital setting.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology
- Valid medical license in Montana or a Compact state
We welcome non-licensed candidates who are willing to obtain a license in Montana.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000, based on national averages and considering the location and scope of practice. However, please note that compensation may vary depending on individual circumstances and agreements.
