Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with physical examinations, medical procedures, and laboratory tests
  • Provide nursing care and comfort to patients, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
  • Assist with admitting and discharging patients, as well as preparing them for surgery or other medical procedures
  • Perform routine tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting exam rooms, restocking supplies, and handling administrative duties
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients, veterinarians, and other support staff
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and safely in a busy animal hospital
