Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with physical examinations, medical procedures, and laboratory tests
- Provide nursing care and comfort to patients, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Assist with admitting and discharging patients, as well as preparing them for surgery or other medical procedures
- Perform routine tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting exam rooms, restocking supplies, and handling administrative duties
- High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients, veterinarians, and other support staff
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and safely in a busy animal hospital
