Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Strategies
    • Analyze and understand solution requirements, architecture, and technical designs to define the necessary scope of automated testing.
    • Coordinate functional, technical, and vendor resources in testing efforts to ensure that our testing process and procedure are followed.
  • Lead and Coordinate Testing Activities
    • Develop test strategies, test plans, and communicate strategies to relevant disciplines and stakeholders clearly and appropriately.
    • Develop and modify test scenarios and test scripts.
    • Perform manual and automated system, regression, and functional testing.
  • Manage Testing Efforts and Defects
    • Manage testing effort and defects through the defect lifecycle.
    • Create testing progress reports, dashboards, and test coverage using test management tools.
  • Develop and Promote Quality Testing Practices
    • Develop and promote quality testing practices to ensure that testing is completed to agreed standards and that business and operational acceptance criteria are met.
    • Liaise with other management and IT disciplines to ensure project testing objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Qtest and JIRA.
    • Experience with TOSCA and Selenium test automation tools.
    • Experience with general software development life cycle practices.
    • Oracle RDBMS, including competency with PL/SQL and a general familiarity with relational database analysis and design as well as SQL tuning.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field, or eight years of applicable experience.
  • Work Experience
    • At least 2-3 years' experience in developing automation scripts using Tosca Test Suite.
    • Experience in creating automation frameworks using Tosca Model-Based framework.
    • Experience in creating automation frameworks using Tosca API scan for testing REST and SOAP APIs.
    • Experience in mobile testing using Tosca with Sauce Labs in both iOS and Android applications using Xcode Simulator and emulator.
    • Experience in creating different types of execution reports of automation scripts through Tosca Reports.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in software system and application testing.
    • 5+ years of experience with software Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) practices, including common test design techniques.
    • 3+ years of managing and coordinating system and application testing.
    • Minimum of 2 years with Qtest.
    • Demonstrable experience of creating quality assurance artifacts, including test plans, test scripts, and test reporting.
    • Experience using PL/SQL for data validation.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Superior computer skills, including common business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
    • Familiarity with general concepts surrounding web services and web applications, including web technologies such as HTML 5, CSS, and JQuery.
    • Experience working with GUI object recognition and customization.
    • Ability to work well with a team.
    • Familiarity with common source control systems and configuration management.
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    • Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business-focused environment.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Comfortable in both UNIX and Windows-based environments.
