Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Professional to join our Enterprise Operations and Technology (EO&T) Finance team at Freddie Mac. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare monthly forecasts and yearly budgets for the EO&T Division
  • Report monthly actual performance against forecast/budget and develop analysis for variances
  • Develop relationships with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and provide insightful analysis and commentary
  • Prepare and maintain labor and non-labor monthly accruals
  • Review, analyze, and maintain software and software maintenance contracts (renewals and new acquisitions)
  • Review, analyze, and make recommendations regarding EO&T spend requests to forecast/budgets
  • Ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to address business needs, support business cases, and non-labor deal reviews
  • Share best practices and knowledge with team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience; technology finance experience a plus
  • Budget preparation and forecasting for cost centers/expense accounts experience a plus
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Workday, Hyperion (SmartView), and Apptio (Budgeting Tool) a plus
  • Presentation development skills with MS PowerPoint to facilitate messaging for executive management audiences
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal business customers while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Advanced level skills with MS Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
