Your Opportunity:

Taylor Print & Service Solutions, a subsidiary of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a Press / Print Operating Technician to become part of our dedicated team.

Your Responsibilities:
* Execute detailed instructions from job orders with accuracy and precision. Identify potential errors or issues and take immediate corrective action.
* Configure and adjust the press for job runs to meet specified requirements.
* Monitor product quality throughout job runs, ensuring adherence to specifications and addressing any discrepancies.
* Oversee equipment performance during job runs, remaining vigilant for mechanical issues and referring to maintenance as needed.
* Initiate job startups in alignment with the production schedule.
* Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
* Achieve output, waste, and spoilage standards.
* Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace for efficient shift transitions.
* Accurately complete related logs and documentation.

Your Shift: Overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on an alternating schedule, including every other weekend.

You Must Have:
* Mechanical and technical aptitude.
* Basic math skills for reading rulers and calculating dimensions for stock optimization.
* Proficiency in operating equipment to meet production and quality benchmarks.
* Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions for work orders.
* Professional communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail.

Requirements Within This Position:
* Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas.
* Regularly required to remain stationary.
* Constantly operates machinery and handles print materials.
* Frequently required to move within the facility.
* Regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25+ pounds.

We Would Also Prefer:
* Color differentiation skills.
* Experience in a production-oriented environment.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
