We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Die Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Kentucky. As a key member of our Die Maintenance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on casting dies in accordance with standards
- Support Toyota Motor's Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK) facility, producing over 500,000 vehicles annually
- Collaborate with the General Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- Perform welding, grinding, and machining tasks, as well as operate cranes and fabrication equipment
- Support in-line tryouts or line calls of dies, and carry out emergency repairs as needed
- Log daily book entries to communicate activities, issues, and progress of die work
- 2-year associate's degree in a related field and 1 year of Industrial Maintenance experience/3 years Industrial Maintenance/Military experience
- Experience building and/or maintaining high-volume stamping dies, welding ability, spotting ability, and hand-finishing skills
- Knowledge of cutting and forming sheet metal stamping operations
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Technical knowledge and skills in Tool & Die, Welding, Machining
- Hourly rate of $44.20
- $1.50 hourly shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift
- Bi-Yearly Bonus opportunity
- Shift hours: 1st 6:00am-2:45pm; 2nd 2:00pm-10:45pm; 3rd 10pm-6:45am Monday-Friday
