Job Summary

Ampcus is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in a newly renovated production facility. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in the development of a strong operations team and contribute to the production of Class III combination devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations in the catheter production of medical devices.
  • Work within established standards using diagrams, drawings, or other assembly procedures.
  • Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Properly turn off and lock out equipment when not in use to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with G.M.Ps.
  • Measure and record process parameters, reporting results to supervision to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Adhere to production schedules and report material shortages to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Accurately document all required entries in the Lot History Record to maintain accurate records.
  • Comply with G.M.Ps regarding material labeling, SOPs, and proper segregation of material in the production process.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the SPNC Quality System to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure all training requirements are up-to-date to maintain current status.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required, typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years clean room production assembly experience.
  • Certified to all stations and/or sequences within a major product family.
  • Competencies include working in conditions normal for a manufacturing environment, standing for extended periods, frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds, and using safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, and hearing protectors.
Working Conditions

The incumbent will work in a manufacturing environment with normal conditions, including standing for extended periods, frequent lifting, and use of safety equipment. Good hand-to-hand and hand-to-eye coordination are required, as well as experience and ability to routinely use a microscope.
