The Role

As a State and Local Tax (SALT) Experienced Associate, you'll serve as a member of various client service teams, receiving both formal and on-the-job training to hone and develop your technical knowledge. Your responsibilities will include preparing corporate state and local income tax filings, extensions, estimates, and all supporting state apportionment, taxable income, and modification workpapers.

You'll also participate in state and local tax planning, modeling, conduct research, and consult on a variety of matters for corporate clients. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting;
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0;
  • At least 1 year of tax preparation experience;
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills;
  • Proficient use of tax preparation software, Oncesource or GoSystems RS preferred;
  • Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient use of technology including MS Excel;
  • Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel.
