Nurse Specialist in Child Psychiatry

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department at Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach. As a Nurse Specialist in Child Psychiatry, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, collect, and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
- Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines, applying principles of leadership and assuming responsibility for professional growth and accountability.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional care for patients and their families.
