This is a unique opportunity to join Lockheed Martin's esteemed team as a Satellite Systems Crew Chief. As a key member of our Next Gen Geo (NGG) OPIR Mission Operations Support (NMOS) Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our satellite systems, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our launch and mission customers.
Key Responsibilities- Satellite Control Operations: Perform commanding and State of Health (SOH) activities for one or more space assets, providing real-time evaluation of the satellite TT&C application.
- Ground Control Operations: Configure and maintain the Ground Control (GC) application, performing all ground system activities, positional changeover, and configuration of ground system assets to maintain mission operations.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the SCO and GCO teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful mission operations.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with the GCO team to configure ground hardware for satellite commanding, and coordinate with the SCCH to ensure seamless communication and coordination with our launch and mission customers.
- Previous Experience: Previous satellite on-console support experience is required, with a current Final Top-Secret security clearance and ability to achieve and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Desired Skills: Previous SBIRS/NGG training experience with Satellite Ground System and TT&C, previous experience with Launch and Early Orbit Testing, and well-organized, self-starter able to take direction and work well both independently and in a team environment.
