Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing jobs on time and under budget, working closely with our HVAC Manager to ensure the overall success of our business.

HVAC Service Tech Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside our customer service and dispatch teams to ensure the overall success of our business
  • Adhere to our company's plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck
  • Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
  • Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts while reinstalling as necessary
  • Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance
  • Records and reports of damaged, worn, or broken parts
  • Orders and installs replacement parts for machines
  • Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
  • Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently Prepare reports documenting work performed
  • Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies

HVAC Service Tech Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Develop a proven track record in heating and cooling systems, including the ability to draw simple diagrams and read blueprints and other diagrams
  • Clean, safe driving record
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections
  • Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team
  • Knowledge of how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction

Education and Experience:

  • EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes
  • ServiceTitan experience preferred
  • Four to five years of HVAC experience preferred
  • Residential HVAC experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time
