Job Summary:

This position reports to the Head of Biostatistics and Data Management within the Research and Development Department at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight within the Clinical Data Management function, ensuring the effective collection and analysis of data. Additionally, the candidate will facilitate collaboration across all R&D functions to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic leadership and direction to the Clinical Data Management team.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of departmental standards, applications, and processes.
  • Oversees the planning and allocation of internal and external resources to ensure effective delivery of project goals.
  • Participates in the selection and oversight of service providers for outsourcing of Clinical Data Management tasks.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of Clinical Data Management services.
  • Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, senior management, and external experts to drive business growth and success.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharma, or Technology Discipline with a minimum of 10 years of Clinical Data Management experience in Pharma/Biotech industries.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience building and managing relevant functions in Clinical Data Management.
  • Experience in working with various eDC systems, such as Oracle InForm and Medidata Rave.
  • Proven ability to oversee EDC build, UAT, data collection, data processing, coding, validations, database lock, and directing a team of data managers working across multiple studies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
