Job Description

We are seeking a Life Skills Coach to join our team at Spread Your Wings, LLC. in Marina, CA.

  • This is a part-time position with the possibility of going full-time after training and learning the position with minimal supervision.

The Coach will manage a caseload of clients assigned by supporting, encouraging, teaching, and working individually with each client to achieve their goals based on their individual support plan. Some examples of tasks include:

  • Fundamental life skills such as advocacy, cooking, home maintenance, medical appointments, medication management, accessing local community resources, and utilizing public transportation.

The schedule will generally be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; however, it may vary depending on client availability and needs, requiring occasional early mornings, late evenings, or Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized plans for clients.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance independent living skills.
  • Manage daily service/case notes and write quarterly progress reports.
  • Attend monthly training meetings and maintain communication with Program Managers and RC Service Coordinators.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, understanding, patient, and caring. You should be personable, adaptable, engaging, motivating, and able to think creatively to solve problems. As this role involves working independently with minimal supervision, you must be dependable, self-accountable, and driven to succeed.

Please note that a valid driver's license, car insurance, vehicle registration, and reliable vehicle are required for this position. We offer an estimated annual salary of $35,000-$45,000, depending on experience.
