Job Summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team in the heavy industrial construction industry. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Protocols: Promote a safe working environment and adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Contract Review: Thoroughly review contracts, scope documents, drawings, specifications, and shop estimates to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Site Management: Maintain site-specific rules and logistics, including break times, smoking rules, shift start and stop times, and food or drink concessions.
  • Quality Control: Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule, and interface with the Superintendent to ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Interface with project team members to establish project schedules and resolve schedule problems.
  • Material Management: Ensure materials, drawings, manpower, specifications, tools, consumables, and equipment are available when needed.
  • Work Instructions: Provide prioritized work activity instructions to craftsmen and monitor their progress.
  • Safety Programs: Assist with the implementation and interpretation of safety programs.
  • Mentorship: Mentor craft personnel for professional development.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Experience: Four (4) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Pipefitter.
  • Skills: Able to correctly execute material take-offs, figure offsets, take-offs to fittings, and rigging.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must have a locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job.
  • Pre-Hire Requirements: Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.
Physical and Site Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Confined Spaces: Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas.
  • Temperature Extremes: Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
  • Climbing and Balance: Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
