Away Game Athletic Trainer

This is a unique opportunity to join the Chief Leschi Schools team as an Athletic Trainer. The successful candidate will provide coverage for high school and middle school athletes during away games, ensuring their physical health and well-being.

• Provide emergency care and treatment to injured athletes
• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine the extent of injuries
• Develop and implement return-to-play protocols
• Work closely with coaches, nurses, and sport medicine staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for athletes
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and coaches to ensure a smooth and successful experience

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
• 2-3 years of professional experience as an athletic trainer
• Washington State Athletic Training Licensure
• Certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to make quick decisions. They will be required to travel with athletic teams and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
