About the Role

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Center Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our distribution centers, ensuring seamless operations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of distribution center operations, including physical assets, operating costs, safety, loss prevention, inventory integrity, and team members.
  • Financial Management: Manage all distribution center expenses and approve and sign off on all expenses.
  • Customer Service: Ensure timely delivery, accuracy of shipments, and excellent customer relations.
  • Compliance: Ensure the distribution center is compliant with company operations, policies, and procedures daily.
  • Team Management: Manage all salary and hourly team members, provide excellent leadership, training, and guidance, and ensure productivity and morale are maintained at a high level.
  • Budgeting: Work with the Regional DC Director to prepare annual operating, labor, and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Risk Management: Ensure a safe working environment and aggressively manage all risk and risk-related costs.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience: 4+ years of successful management or assistant management in a distribution center
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and people skills, strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, above-average computer skills, and ability to oversee multiple tasks at one time and prioritize accordingly
